— Diving in Komodo
Komodo Dive Center offers daily dive excursions into the famous Komodo National Park, located in Flores Indonesia. Our local and western dive guides are first rate in both professionalism and fun, trained in the probably best diving region in South East Asia.
Our traditional wooden day boat is in a class of its own. Padded daybeds, beanbags, teakwood furniture, custom wood framing, western toilet, power stations and a diving deck customized with the diver’s comfort in mind are standard on this wonderful boat. If you want to have a relaxing day of diving or snorkeling or if you just want to get out and see the islands while sunning yourself on the spacious top deck, this is the boat for you.
Within two hours we can reach ALL the top sites in the National Park such as Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Lighthouse, Three Sisters and Manta Point. Of course there are several other amazing sites that we dive on a regular base.
We run our dive boat on a daily base and we try to cover at least 12 different dive sites in a four day cycle and accommodate 10-12 divers per day. Equipped with a six cylinder Mitsubishi diesel engine it makes the cruise silent and fast. Therefore we can easily accommodate three dives per day and still make it back before sunset time.
We leave every day at 7.30am and return back to Labuanbajo at around 5pm. Diving here in Komodo is definitely an great experience, as you will dive in currents, channels and we can guarantee big fish encounters!
We will split up groups depending on the experience level of the individual divers. Also we never take more that 3 guests on one dive guide. The entire KDC crew takes safety very serious, especially here in Komodo as the currents can be challenging from time to time. Our dive guides know the exact entry and drift point of each individual dive site. Your safety is our biggest concern!

Regarding prices
Day trip into the national park, 3x dive sites: 1,650,000 IDR per pax/day incl. private guide (max ratio 3:1), dive equipment rental, breakfast, lunch, harbor clearance, snacks throughout the day, a great day of diving
The Komodo National Park entrance fee will be charged separately:
Week day 175,000 IDR
Sunday and public holiday 250,000 IDR

If you like to see the mighty Komodo dragons, we can arrange that too.
Usually twice a week we go out for two dives in the morning and dragon-trekking in the afternoon.
We also offer a wide range of other activities, the cost will depend on the group size and where exactly you want to go :)
