LOCATION
As we are based in Flores, the easiest way to get here is to grab a flight from Denpasar (DPS) Bali to Labuan Bajo (LBJ). All the major domestic airlines fly here multiple times a day. Komodo Dive Center is located on the main road of Labuan Bajo only 5 minutes away from the airport. When coming from the harbor you can find us on the right side of the road, following the one-way direction.

Manager MORITZ – Keeps the business running and will be happy answer your emails and phone calls. As he is rooted to his office chair you might only see him on the boat very rarely. Assistant manager and Accounting RANY – Not enough space here write down all the things she is doing. Trust us, it is A LOT! Secretary and office helper LERI aka VALERIE – Preparing trips, shopping for trips, organizing supplies, keeping the business running smoothly. And she wants to be a pirate! Equipment handler DARMIN – he makes sure that all the dive equipment is prepared for the next day’s trip.
Dive Guides ALEX, STONER, SOLEMAN, SARDINE, ODY, DOM, MARTYN – providing you with epic dives Cruise director DOM and MARTYN – the men in charge!
Captain OVAN – grumpy and in the same time funny character, he will be there when you need him. Especially when waiting for the pick-up on the dive site after surfacing. Ovan knows the KNP inside out. Boat helper and mechanic DENI and MARTO – if you wonder how you suddenly got into your BCD and fins… then it was one of them helping dressing you up for diving faster than you could notice! While you are diving, they are cleaning and maintaining the boat. Service HANS – Coffee, tea, snacks, fruits, lunch. That is the world of HANS. He will be in charge of the drinks and meals of the day. Also he has set up his little “HANS mini bar” on the boat, being happy to sell you some cold soft drinks or even a beer after the last dive.
Captain SAIFUL – always hiding in his captains quarters. Co-captain HASNU – found often playing cards on the second deck. Small boat driver RISHWAN – speaks very good English and loves to joke. Head Mechanic DODY – rarely seen but vital to the boat, often hides below deck in the engine room. Also plays guitar very well! Mechanic and boat helper ZAKKA – if you see a new face on the boat after a few days its Zak and he has finally come out from the engine room Head Chef DIMAS – always at work in the kitchen if you are hungry just talk to Dimas, he also makes a mean omelet. Kitchen helper FRANS and ERICK – Cutting, chopping, stirring, washing, cleaning and repeat! Service EFAS – anything you need you can ask him, you’ll find him everywhere and anywhere. HARRIS – service and room staff, speaks every language known to mankind! At least a few words…
